Ceramic Coating Installation Process
Surface prep – We start with an inspection of the vehicle, then we hand wash the vehicle, decontaminate the paint both chemically (iron remover) and mechanically (clay bar) to ensure the paint is free of dirt, oils, or other environmental contaminants.
Paint correction – Polishing the paint to remove most swirls, scratches, and marring. This gets the paint as glossy as possible before the ceramic coating is applied.
Hand application of the ceramic coating – Now that the paint is in pristine condition, we apply the coating using the most current application techniques, processes, and equipment. This ensures an even and level coating. We work in small sections at a time, allowing us to double-check our work before moving to the next section. This process allows the ceramic coating to chemically bond to the paint, which will repel contaminants, enhance the gloss, and add super hydrophobic properties to the paint.
Final inspection and curing process – The coating will need time to cure, bond, and harden. Once inspected for consistency and coverage, your vehicle is ready to be driven and admired.
